WordPress 2.8: "500 internal server error" on Aruba
One problem for those who use Aruba as the host is just doing a heart attack at all WordPress blogs. If you tried to upgrade the platform to version 2.8 you may have noticed the string "500 internal server error" on every page of your site. The following error is caused by poor management of permissions.
To resolve the problem at the site log in http://admin.aruba.it/login.aspx with your credentials.
- Change to "Linux Hosting Management Panel";
- Later entries in the "Tools and Settings";
- Click on "Repair Permissions";
- Confirm by clicking OK;
Wait a few minutes and reload the page.
Your blog should start without problems.
